Analyzing Bighorn Sheep Data
This week for science our class broke down into 6 different scientific teams. Each team has a real herd of bighorn sheep (from Montana) to analyze. The first part of the week we are determining the population of observed bighorns for each year the herd has been around. Next, graphs will be made to show trends in populations. Later this week each team will create a presentation, using the data, graph, and case study of their herd to present to the class on how the herd is doing and what factors are impacting bighorn sheep conservation. Finally, students will see graphs created by the scientists that studied the herds, along with the scientists' analysis of each herd.
