Old Fashioned Quill Pens

We ventured back in time today as students made quill pens out of turkey feathers. Using ink bottles, they pretended to be a soldier in the Revolutionary War and wrote a letter to someone back home, explaining some of the concepts we recently learned about in social studies. Most students were so glad that we have modern writing devices!
