Food Chains
In combining informational text with science this week, we have read about food chains and used food chain cards to come up with a variety of different food chains. Later on, we will create an original food chain and label all the levels (producers, 1st level consumer, 2nd level consumer, etc.).

I was always pro real life learning. When the students can combine the information they get at the lessons with the real life experience, the learning becomes more realistic and fascinating. Observing how things work in reality and learning to analyze it at school is a very useful tool that will help a person later in life. Explaining the food chain to the kids us both entertaining and beneficial for their health and their outlook. The kids could also do some writing essay online to express their opinion on the food habits.
